Loutra today is a small tourist village with its residents mainly dealing with fishing, beekeeping, olive growing and tourism. This destination for sure will attract agricultural tourism lovers as well. The story says that after the World War II the local residents blew up the rocks in the sea and the hydrosulfide water of 39 degrees C sprang out from the sleeping volcano.
